जागी हुई भी हूँ और जीवंत होने का एहसास भी है फिर ये मानिंद –ए –तिश्नगी किस कमी का एहसास है ? कभी सहारा   दो तो तर जाऊं और न दो   तो अधीर हो जाऊं करीब होते हुए भी फिर करीब आने का अरमान क्यूँ है ? ये   कैसी दोस्ती  , ये कैसी दुश्मनी   है   कि देख के   निकल जाऊं    और   न देखूं   तो बेचैन हो   जाऊं रिश्ता   है , नाता है   या कि ये  कोई    दैवीय   अनुकम्पा    है कि तुम हो , साथ हो , फिर भी सिर्फ एक एहसास हो इज़हार   है , इंकार   है    और साथ चलने का इक अरमान भी   इप्तादा – ए उल्फत  है और एहसास –ए – तिश्नगी  भी कभी मुखर तो कभी   ख़ामोश होते तुम , और तुम्हारी हर अदा पर वारी जाती मैं   कभी अनकहे बोलों और   कभी बेहिसाब झरते नगीनों   को समझने की चाह में अनवरत चलती मैं है ये जन्म जन्मान्तर का बंधन तो फिर ये क्षणिक होने का एहसास  क्यूँ है हर कमी को पूरी करते तुम और तुम में तुम को ढूंढती मैं हर पल तुम साथ हो फिर भी क्या मैं कभी तुम्हे खोज पाऊंगी अगर सच्चाई हो तुम तो क्या तुम तक मैं कभी पहुँच पाऊंगी ? इसी उधेड़ ब

चाँद चाँद की ठंडक ने एहसास कराई तपन सूरज की  और फिर जगाई ऐसी आस कि आग लगे तो ऐसी लगे कि जिसके  बुझने की आस फिर कभी न जगे इस पल पल बदलती दुनिया में क्या अँधियारा और क्या रोशनी ज़िन्दगी एक पल की ही तो है तो फिर क्या दिल्लगी और क्या बेखुदी  अभी तो चंद लफ़्ज़ों में स मेटा   है   तुझे   ऐ   चाँद   अभी   तो   मेरी   किताबों   में   तेरी   तफसीर   बाकी   है चाँद से मिलन की तड़प ही तो लहरों की जान है।   जो मिलन हो गया तो फिर   उफान   का क्या काम है ये  चाँद की   चाहत का असर है  या  कि मिलन की आस कि फिर उठने की चाह है  हर लहर की   गिरने के बाद एक तू है कि जहाँ भर से ताल्लुक है तेरा और चाहता है कि मैं तेरी ज़ार में ही रहूँ तुझे ये हक़ है कि तू वास्ता रखे सब से और मुझे ये भी नहीं कि वास्ता रख सकूँ अपने चाँद से अर्चना टंडन
