Transparency in Literature

Image
https://charlesdavidartistry.blogspot.com/2020/03/dr-archana-tandon-gtyp-march-2020-submit.html?spref=fb&m=1 It is, transparency that can make the literary world divine By expressing oneself without hiding behind The masked faces that camouflage one's appearance For one's true self ought to be visible with all its radiance Let genuine interactions bring out one's grace For through them one will earn all the praise Let the dealings be honest and legitimate As one goes about meeting one's folks and one's mate Sincerity and virtuousness one needs to possess To help each other dream big and attain success For it is these virtues that define transparency in literature Which strengthen the foundation pillars of our culture © Dr Archana Tandon

Being Human

Image
https://unitedbyink.org/contest/archana-tandon-category-poemblossomscertificate-of-excellence The lonely soul was in distress His ailments to her, he did confess He approached her, to allay his anxiety And she reciprocated with all her dexterity Thankful of her company he began to open up In the warmth of her words his outcry got muffled up From his gloom he was made to emerge Slowly made to fly to satisfy his inner urge The sadness was soon replaced with a winning smile Which had been hiding behind despondency all this while She watched him soar higher and higher As he built bit by bit his cherished empire To his aching call she responded with all her sanity Reciprocally an equivalent joy was added to her vanity To every aching soul that makes a call Humanity within us should always respond © Dr Archana Tandon

The Pandemic

Image
Its claws leave no continents untouched It's call makes the population affected feel crushed Multitudes are affected Hordes are demoralised And many meet their ultimate fate As their condition aggravates Segregation and social distancing is most desired As through contact it is acquired Preventive measures decrease the disease load So the population should follow religiously this code This will help the doctors to attend to all those affected Giving medical and psychological support to all the cases detected At times the situation goes out of control Then enormous becomes the death toll Prayers then become the only source To put a halt to the pandemic's course © Dr Archana Tandon

Magical Laddakh

Image
Ladakh through it's quietude casts a spell Courtesy it's unique beauty, it does dispel The constrictive feel of cities and towns Making buoyant smiles replace the baffled frowns The landscape diversity at such a height Has mountains, lakes, rivers and desert that add on to one's delight The ever changing colours of the Ladakhi horizon Are balanced well by the polychromatic prayer flags in every passing season Here, bathed in white snow, the mountainuos heights shimmer The serenity of the place mesmerizes one and makes one quiver At times the whining gales raise clouds of silvery sand  That encompass the greens interspersed in the brownish desert grand The 'mani' wheels spin to the tunes of the devotee's prayer Decorated stupas transfix one's sight by their sparkling glare All in unison stimulate the senses and leave one enthralled To understand the truth that resonated in Budha's divine c

व्यक्तिपूजन और वंशवाद

Image

The Reality Of Paradise

Image
Is paradise a place where I will go, when I die Or is it a place where I am destined to live, to testify For me it is a place divine, showered on me to play a role With my body in unison, with my soul Here I will dance to the tunes of the daily chores Sailing with all my expertise from one shore to the other shore Relishing every moment in tandem Enjoying every bit of what life throws at me, at random Photographing, penning and rhyming with nature's moves As I go about performing of what my profession approves I don't carry a dream to reach the paradise of pretense Neither do I wish to attain it when I meet death, in it's true sense  For God has blessed us with this human birth To serve humankind putting in all our worth Using honesty, humility, gratitude and altruistic approach To create a paradise of humanity on this celestial globe ©  Dr Archana Tandon
