Birding At Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary Bharatpur

This manmade park is a 29 km 2  (11 sq mi) reserve and is a mosaic of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps and wetlands. It is said to house 375 species of birds; 200 migratory birds from all over the world, 100 birds which migrate from within the country and 75-100 local birds. To our bad luck whole of 18th, 19th and pre lunch 20th were foggy, cloudy and extremely cold. Had booked the tourist Lodge in advance so did not cancel. Did manage to get a few good shots though, thanks to the camera. From Moradabad we opted for the route via Dasna onto Eastern Peripheral Expressway and then State expressway bypassing Mathura though this route is 100 km longer than via Aligarh; as former is a expressway and latter single lane road.
