Our Lighthouse
As I stood gazing at the light house at Cape Point
I could visualise it's strength by it's majestic height
Providing a sense of hope by it's glowing light
To ships and vessels on a dingy night
There stood Jai looking at the distance markers on the pole
From these cities sailed ships with Cape Point as their goal
Suddenly the thought equating him with the light house struck me
As I gazed at the gleam in the eyes of the figure lordly
He had always been the perfect guiding force
To friends and family near and far away
They looked up to him for his rational vision
Which helped them to finally arrive at a sensible conclusion
