THE RING



Our story of love began
To make our mobiles incessantly ring
Making our hearts beat faster
And our yearning souls sing

Every whiff of wind
brought with it
Thoughts of union
As the families
put in all the efforts
 To unite us clearing all their confusion

Friends jived at us
By calling marriage
a wrestling ring
As we continued planning to embark on a journey
Passionately determined

The diamond wedding ring
Shone well with all it's grace on my hand
Filled with ecstasy and bliss
I slid on your finger the glittering platinum band
