Let the world of Geisha, Nagarvadhu and Tawaif collapse
As each woman frees herself from these patriarcal wraps
To soar and survive in a unit of her own
Free from financial dependence on any creature known

Let the bonds of love survive on mutual respect
Nurturing it with faithfulness to attain soulful connect
If gender equality is at the heart of a relationship
Equality Day would be celebrated giving women's day a skip
