My Papa
How can I ever forget Those walks on Ridge Road Where you would teach me Maths and physics Walking uphill As the evening lights glowed How can I ever forget That after a rigorous office routine You would come home With comics and books To see our eyes gleam How can I ever forget Your determition to help us In pursuing the subjects of our interest You made it a point To be on our side As we matured And became independent To guide us all through You have always been our ideal Your patient yet intelligent approach Has inspired us all the way By imbibing your spiritual qualities We have succeeded in keeping The worst of our worries at bay. ©Dr Archana Tandon
