"Home" A poem by Dr Archana Tandon
As I lay with my head on her lap
With her fingers easing out my afflictions
I felt myself emerging from the tormenting trap
Of anguish, sufferings and botherations
Embraced in her genuine warmth
I found myself unfolding and at home
Affectionately easing out and giving in
To the simplistic behaviour of my mother's clone
Indeed she was a God sent zealous fairy
To create for me heaven on this earth
By providing a reclusive space for my soul
She did save me from the life's treacherous haul
