 Tour lasted from 15th June to 26th June 2022 Day - 1, 15th June 2022 - Over to Chandigarh from Moradabad Distance- 348 km, altitude 321 m I took a train from Moradabad to Chandigarh which took about 6 hours. Checked into CRPF Officers Mess courtesy my batchmate Dr Hanspal, who was also the organiser of the trip for the batch. After dinner retired excitedly all prepared for the Lahaul Spiti trip the next day when we would be proceeding to our first stop the picturesque Narkanda.

This manmade park is a 29 km 2  (11 sq mi) reserve and is a mosaic of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps and wetlands. It is said to house 375 species of birds; 200 migratory birds from all over the world, 100 birds which migrate from within the country and 75-100 local birds. The history Closest International airport is Delhi-184 Km. It is well connected by rail and road. The map  We visited the Keoladeo National Park from 17th to 21st January 2022. To our bad luck whole of 18th, 19th and pre lunch 20th were foggy, cloudy and extremely cold. Had booked the tourist Lodge in advance so did not cancel. Did manage to get a few good shots though, thanks to the camera. From Moradabad we opted for the route via Dasna onto Eastern Peripheral Expressway and then State expressway bypassing Mathura though this route is 100 km longer than via Aligarh; as former is a expressway and latter single lane road. Rajasthan Tourism is fair enough with bookings on-line....
