A letter to the Indian public ..  Being anti doctor is not the treatment for poor healthcare system . We as well as you need to understand the pathogenesis of it all . What I understand by looking all around is  The economic reforms brought about the introduction of corporates in all fields not only medicine .  Big corporates involved big investments .To get back the profits from their huge investments these business houses required consumers in multitudes who could pay well . This was in all sectors and healthcare was just one of them . Intermediaries and journalism helped this axis in their own way .
